PM Life Terms and Conditions
Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions,
- “PM Life Technology Course Partners” or shortly “Partners” refer to the companies and institutions that are helping to organise the Technology Courses. The full list of partners can be found here: www.pmlifetraining.com/partners
- “Participant” shall mean any person who registers for courses and completes payment as per the terms and conditions
1. Payments
1.1 Payments terms will be 30 days after the invoice is received. Invoices will be emailed to the email address that is submitted during registration. If payment is not completed in time, we reserve the right to refuse registration.
1.2 All courses include a non-refundable 20% deposit which will cover admin fees. For more information on refunds please see section 3.
1.3 Payments will be requested as followed:
- Either an invoice for the full amount in 2021 (which includes a 20% non-refundable deposit as per 1.2)
- Or a 20% non-refundable deposit, followed by two 40% invoices before the first session the participant will attend
2. Internship
2.1 Internships are not officially offered within the Technology Courses, but participants may contact EPMA with requests and partners will be notified of the interest, so that they can contact the participant directly. The possible internship will be managed directly by the intern and the relevant partner(s) and EPMA will not be responsible or liable for any issue whatsoever.
3. Refund
3.1 If a participant changes his/her mind about attending a course within at least one calendar month before the first session in a course (namely a Fundamentals session), 80% of the fee for that course will be refunded (excluding the 20% non-refundable deposit).
3.2 Cancellations with less than one calendar month notice or non-attendance will officially not be entitled to refund but may be looked at a case-by-case basis depending on the situation and costs incurred
4. Photography/video
4.1 The partners may arrange for photographs/screenshots and/or video footage to be taken during both online and on site sessions and used for promotional purposes. This may include printed documents or media, editorial coverage, advertising press and use on the internet.
4.2 Participants who do not wish that their image be used in this manner must ensure they indicate their wishes to EPMA Event and Project Coordinator, Delphine Nicolas at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. before attending their first course session
5. Data Protection
5.1 By submitting registration details, participants agree to allow the EPMA and Partners associated with the course(s) chosen to contact them as required for the organisation and administration of the course(s).
5.2 By submitting registration details, participants agree that their names and any relevant data can be provided to the hosts of each course session and in turn the hosts can provide these to relevant people such as, e.g., hotels, caterers, site visit hosts. No unnecessary communication of private data will occur.
6. Host cancellation/postponements of events
6.1 In the case that the minimum number of participants is not reached for each course, a course may be cancelled or postponed. However, if such decision is made, it will be made with 1 week notice before the online event to participants (the notice will be given by E-Mail). In the event of a course cancellation, the affected participants may transfer their fee to another course or a further year. In case of course/session postponement, the fees will be kept for the postponed course/session. If the new dates are not suitable for an affected participant, relevant refund for the cancelled/postponement course/session will be processed – further details below.
6.1.1 If a participant registered for one or more courses/sessions and one is cancelled or postponed to an unsuitable date, he/she can be refunded for that course/session or transfer his/her booking for either another course or another year, whichever is suitable. The refund will be for the difference between the fees already paid and the fees for the courses/sessions that have already been attended.
6.2 If a course/session is cancelled/postponed within the said terms (see 6.1) before the original dates for the course/session, the Partners will not be responsible for any costs occurred by the participants (such as transportation costs, etc).
